  11. I used to not care a bit about cats. Dog lover to the max. I thought cats had no emotions . But had a room mate that had several. Eventually. I started to figure out how they communicate. Then it opened everything up. And i understood. Now i have had Bo for 10 years. And Taz for 6. The longest i have ever had animals. They are family to me. And this is a true story. About 2 years ago. My cat Bo was in the front yard. 2 pit bulls chased him under the house. I was trying to yell at them and chase them off the property. They began to turn and face me and showed their teeth and growled. All of a sudden . Bo shot out from under the house stood right beside me claws out and hissing at the 2 dogs. They ran away. It was the most unbelievable thing. That confirmed to me that cats do consider us part of the pack. Family fights for family.- true story
